Business School Club Fair - SHRM

The CU Denver Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapter was recently awarded the 2016-2017 SHRM Student Chapter Superior Merit Award. This year’s award marks the group’s fourth consecutive designation, having achieved “superior” standing three times and “outstanding” once. The honor recognizes the Business School’s SHRM student chapter for its excellence in providing development and growth opportunities to its student members.

“It is always a challenge, but we continue to be well-positioned to help our students, and most importantly provide a meaningful experience for them,” said the chapter’s faculty advisor and Lecturer of Management, Virgil Setzer.

Representing more than 275,000 professional and 20,000 student members, SHRM is the world’s largest association dedicated to advancing the interests of the Human Resource profession, connecting members in over 160 countries. The Business School’s chapter has been a Top Ten SHRM chapter, thanks to its dedication to serving students through scholarship, internship, and employment resources, as well as networking opportunities.
