It was founded in 1858 and had already become Colorado’s socioeconomic center by 1880. Like many major cities and urban areas in the U.S., Denver has seen an increase in panhandling. John Bryd found his love of sustainability and the planet through his time outdoors before he started his academic career. He spent time backpacking, climbing, mountaineering, and rafting. “Most people who spend a lot of time in the wilderness become concerned about protection and preservation,” said Bryd. After 2 weeks of exploring and learning, the University of Colorado Denver Business School students are back from Europe.
