What It Takes for International Students to Land a Job in the US – Workshop

October 24, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Are you ready for questions that potential employers might ask you? Some of the questions you might hear during your internship or job search include: 1) Do you need sponsorship to work in the US? 2) Are you eligible to work in the US? 3) Are you a US citizen, permanent resident, temporary resident, asylee, or refugee?

During this workshop, we’ll talk about how to respond to questions like these that you might encounter when you’re applying for jobs. We’ll also talk about how long it might take you to land a job, pathways you might use to find a job, and how to understand (and explain to a potential employer) CPT and OPT.

This is a fast-paced 90-minute session to discuss the basics of landing a job in the US. All international Business School students need to attend one of these Workshops.
