Tenure-track Senior Assistant/Associate Professor in Information Systems
The Information Systems Program at the University of Colorado Denver Business School invites applications for a tenure track position in Information Systems at the Senior Assistant/Associate level. The position will begin August 2013, pending position clearance. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience; competitive benefits package. Applicants must hold a PhD in Information Systems or closely related field.
The individual will be expected to teach Information Systems courses at the Undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. levels and should have prior teaching experience in technical courses. Candidates at the associate level must provide evidence of teaching excellence and a strong record of outstanding publications in top tier information systems journals. The individual will also be expected to engage in scholarly research, and collaborate with doctoral students and other faculty in the department. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated ability to teach courses and to conduct research in one or more of the following areas: health care information systems, IT governance and service management, or digital innovations.
Professors Jahangir Karimi and Ronald Ramirez will be available to meet with prospective candidates at ICIS 2012 between December 16th and 18th.
