Fall semester at the University of Colorado Denver Business School is fast approaching. The first day of classes for Fall 2013 is August 19th. If you are a student, it is important to be aware of important dates on the academic calendar. Here are the important August dates to be aware of:

August 18

Last day to DROP from all classes via UCDAccess and receive a refund of the $200 advance payment. You must DROP via UCDAccess from your classes by 5:00 PM to receive a refund.

August 19

First day of Fall semester classes.

First day faculty/staff may register with a tuition waiver.

Last day to petition for resident tuition status.

August 25

Last day to ADD and WAITLIST classes using UCDAccess. If your class does not appear as “enrolled” on your schedule by Census date you are not enrolled in the class.

August 26

Last day to drop a class without a $100 drop charge.

No ADDS permitted today. All waitlists will be eliminated today; please check your schedule to ensure you are enrolled in all intended classes.

August 27 – September 4

To add a class you must complete a Schedule Adjustment Form and obtain instructor’s signature. The 27th is the first day an instructor may approve a request to add a student to a closed class.
