This is Part II of a 2-part workshop. Part I is available in Canvas and must be completed prior to attending.

For this particular portion of the workshop, we’ll focus on practicing your interviewing and networking skills as if you’ve already scored an interview or are meeting with an employer. If you don’t stand out in the process, you probably won’t get a second chance with this employer. Preparation and practice are key to a successful experience. Start that preparation and practice early.

We’ll meet for 60-minutes in a small-group to practice the strategies and tactics learned in Part I of this course, for successful, low-stress networking and interviewing. By the time you’re done, you’ll know about how to handle phone, video, and in-person interviewing, you’ll be able to handle interview questions, and recover from blunders. You’ll also know how to approach networking situations, which are often the best catalysts to landing jobs.
