The goal of the CU Denver Data Science Symposium 2019 is to bring together data science communities from CU Denver to learn about data science research, education and applications, and share the current state of data science inside and outside CU Denver.
The symposium agenda includes expert panels on data science research, education and applications, lightening talks, and poster sessions, as well as keynotes from:
- Kevin Koy, Director of Data Science at IDEO, previously founding Executive Director of UC Berkeley’s Berkeley Institute for Data Science (BIDS) and Managing Director of Data Science and AI Affiliates Programs at Stanford University
- Fernando Perez, UC Berkeley Professor, creator of IPython and co-founder of Project Jupyter, National Academy of Science Kavli Frontiers of Science Fellow
