The Fall Commencement ceremony for the University of Colorado Denver will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 9 a.m. at the Colorado Convention Center. Graduates need to check in for the ceremony at 7:45 a.m. on December 15 in Upper Hall B.
There are no tickets for this event and no limit to the number of guests graduates may invite. The seating is first-come, first-served, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early. ADA needs will be accommodated.
Registration for the fall 2012 ceremony is now open. Click this link to rent your cap and gown, order alumni merchandise and more. Faculty should also register to participate and request regalia through this site. The deadline to register online is December 3rd.
The Business School will host a reception immediately following commencement for graduates, guests and faculty. The reception will be held at the Colorado Convention Center, in Rooms 501-503. The Business School graduation reception will begin immediately following graduation ceremony, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Free parking will be provided on the Auraria Campus in the Dogwood, Holly, Maple, Nutmeg, and Redwood lots and in the Tivoli Parking Garage. Click for a PDF map of parking lot locations. Paid parking is available at the Colorado Convention Center ($12) and at surrounding lots. Attendees may also wish to avoid traffic by taking the Light Rail to and from the convention center.
The commencement ceremony will be broadcast on USTREAM live on Saturday, December 15 for family and friends who are unable to attend the ceremony in person.
