Dean’s Super Merit Scholarship
The Dean’s Super Merit Scholarship is designed to reward students who earn high GMAT scores. Achieving high scores on the GMAT is difficult, and the Business School recognizes this by offering a scholarship for CU Denver Business School students who score highly on the GMAT. This scholarship is available to all newly admitted domestic and international students who meet the eligibility requirements.
This scholarship is highly competitive, and qualification is based upon GMAT score and timing of registration. Early registration and high GMAT scores will receive award priority.
In order to be qualified for the Dean’s Super Merit Scholarship, students must earn an official GMAT total score of at least 680. Students who score between 680-710 are eligible for an award of up to $3,000, while students who score between 720-800 are eligible for an award of up to $5,000.
The total amount awarded will be dispersed over eligible students’ first two semesters at the CU Denver Business School. In order to receive the Dean’s Super Merit Scholarship, students must register for at least 6 credit hours each semester, and earn a cumulative GPA of at least 3.6 to receive scholarship funds for their second semester. Scholarships are awarded on a first-registered, first-awarded basis until allotted funds are exhausted. Therefore, it is important for students to apply and register early increase their chances of receiving this prestigious award.
