Alan Simpson, the outspoken US Senator from Wyoming (retired), spoke recently with the Denver Business Journal about sequestration and his upcoming trip to Denver. Senator Simpson, who was also Co-Chair of the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform (2010), will be speaking at the University of Colorado Denver Business School’s 2013 Celebration of Success. Senator Simpson will deliver the keynote address, titled “Let’s Fix the Debt,” at this year’s event. The Celebration of Success has become Denver’s premier event, gathering the top community and business leaders to help to raise essential support for student scholarships.
