The number-crunchers at the consumer website NerdWallet have ranked the 20 best cities in America for female entrepreneurs, and Denver made the list.
Denver is No. 7 on the list, which was created based on five factors: a city’s entrepreneurial climate, the percentage of businesses owned by women, median earnings for female workers, the percentage of residents with a college degree, and the unemployment rate.
Only the 50 largest cities were considered.
