Galvanize Partnership

Galvanize and University of Colorado Denver jointly announce the Pathways Program, a strategic partnership that allows eligible Colorado high school and current CU Denver students to earn academic college credit at CU Denver for completing the Web Development Immersive (WDI) program at Galvanize.

For eligible high school students and current CU Denver students who enroll in the Pathways Program, there is a 30% discount on tuition for the six month full-time WDI course. Through this partnership, students who complete the WDI program can earn up to 12 credits (nearly a full semester of academic credit).  Upon program completion, they can choose to immediately enter the workforce, enroll in CU Denver part-time or full-time, or begin working while saving for their education and enroll at CU Denver within five years with the credits they earned.

“This partnership will fuel Denver’s increasingly tech-driven workforce,” said CU Denver Chancellor, Dorothy Horrell, Ph.D. “By combining the skills and expertise of Galvanize with a comprehensive education from Colorado’s public urban research university, students have the opportunity to launch into successful careers as software designers, system analysts, leaders in web development and beyond.”

“We believe Galvanize and CU Denver both offer critical skill development for the business leaders of tomorrow,” said Galvanize CEO Jim Deters. “Today, every company is a tech company, which means they all need and are competing for highly-skilled, workforce ready employees, managers, and future executives. We are thrilled to partner with CU Denver to integrate the Galvanize industry-driven tech curriculum and degree programs at CU Denver’s Business School.”
