Creating space for top finance research in the front range

The 2017 Front Range Finance Seminar was hosted at the University of Colorado Denver Business School on Friday April 21st, 2017. Hosted for the second year in a row by the CU Denver Business School, the Front Range Finance Seminar presents a unique forum for finance faculty in the Front Range region to exchange research, present ideas, and provide feedback in a collegiate environment.

The goal of the highly anticipated seminar was to highlight prominent research and provide an environment for thoughtful discussion. “The quality of the papers was high and the discussions insightful. It was a great success. I would like to thank Yosef Bonaparte, Christina Conger, Justine Von Arb, and Megan Stribling for their efforts,” said Dean Rohan Christie-David of the CU Denver Business School.

Organized by Yosef Bonaparte, Assistant Professor of Finance, the Front Range Finance Seminar was extraordinarily successful in connecting the Front Range finance community and beyond. Participants took part in the presentations and discussions including an industry pinnacle keynote speech was delivered by Professor George Korniotis regarding stock market participation and asset allocation.

Previous seminars were hosted at Colorado State University (September 2010), University of Wyoming (April 2011), and University of Colorado Denver (September 2011, April 2015 and 2016).
