In their 17^th annual list of the Best Places for Business and Careers, Forbes ranked Denver as the number one city out of 401 metropolitan statistical areas in the U.S.

The cities were rated on a dozen different factors, and Forbes quoted Denver’s “diverse economy, highly educated labor force and outdoor recreational opportunities” as the reasons that it ranked in the first spot.

Another Colorado city, Fort Collins, also made the list for Best Place for Business and Careers, landing the number ten spot.
