The Business Career Connections Center at the University of Colorado Business School will be introducing a career preparation workshop for international students this spring semester.

The goal of the workshop is to help International students prepare if they would like to work in the U.S. either for internships or full time work.  We know that it is especially important that they are well versed and understand the employment process so they can answer any questions employers may have, in addition to having a great resume.  We are very excited to be doing the workshop in partnership with International Student & Scholar Services as they are the experts on the process of CPT and OPT, and Nathanial Lynch will be co-presenting.

“I would highly recommend that all international students attend this workshop.  We know that international students need to understand employment requirements prior to speaking with any employers and with the Business School Career Fair coming up on March 9th, this gives students plenty of time to prepare,” said Stephanie Egan, Career Advisor and co-presenter.

Additionally this is a great workshop for any international student to attend as they will get the information they need on employment in the U.S. as an international student as well as information on resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn and interacting with employers in one session rather than needing to do two separate appointments with each office.

Workshops will be held throughout the spring semester, the first of which on February 3rd, and the second will be on February 22nd. You can email BCC@UCDENVER.EDU for more information.
