Entrepreneur is a resource for people interested in all aspects of new business and ideas. They offer a number of free webinars and events on relevant topics of business and entrepreneurship.

Score is a website that offers mentorship and education in business. They have webinars that are available live on certain dates and also offer the option to re-watch previous webinars in case you missed it or you’re interested in something from the past.

Courses

The Denver Metro Chamber offers a number of free courses in business, from multi-week courses to one-time trainings. They cover things from finance to leadership and more. Visit their website to see what they’re offering.

Did you know that as a CU Denver student you get free access to LinkedIn Learning, which has a massive variety of course types available for you to learn. Once you’ve completed a training, you can put it on your LinkedIn profile as well.

Interested in learning to code? This can be a useful skill in business! Code Academy offers this for free.

Need help understanding your coursework or want to learn about different business aspects or even explore things outside the business realm? Khan Academy offers tons of free resources.

Some other free options are Hub Spot, edX, and Open Culture. These all offer free courses in business and more.

Student Discounts on Subscriptions

Stay up to date with business insights and get access to resources like more webinars and courses through The Economist. This world-renowed journal offers a student discount for a year’s subscription which offers invaluable information and more.

Bloomberg is a financial and business journal with its own TV channel with live updates and insights. They have many resources available to subscribers and offer a discount rate for students.

If you find an interesting article, on most journal and newspaper websites, they allow one or two free articles a day or week, so keep that in mind!
