Time is running out to cast your session votes for the third annual Denver Startup Week. For one whole week, September 15-20, 2014, the Denver community will come together and learn about all the great innovations in business, design, manufacturing, and technology. Voting ends June 30.

Voting is critically important to the success of Denver Startup Week. The event is surrounded around community involvement, from the session idea submissions to attending the event; it needs the community to weigh-in on what is discussed. Voting is the linchpin of the community-fueled atmosphere that is Denver Startup Week.

CU Denver Business School has a few sessions up for selection. The Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship would like to celebrate successful Denver entrepreneurs with its “Best of Colorado Speaker Series.” Also up for consideration is “Clean Up Your Pitch,” a presentation by a local venture capitalist about what venture capitalists are looking for in an “elevator pitch.” “Experiential Education” would be a comparison of learning business in a classroom versus experiencing business in a company. The Business School’s final submission is all about integrating technology within a business, called “Stay Ahead With Tech.”

For those averse to making decisions, have no fear: one can vote for multiple sessions. If more than one session looks particularly interesting, vote for each one. The only voting restriction prevents users from voting for the same session twice.

The Denver Startup Week committee hopes to make the event much bigger this year than before. It has gained sponsorship from Chase, Downtown Denver Partnership, Colorado Technology Association, Comcast, and CU Denver.
