The Bard Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado Denver Business School recently hosted 60 executives in a luncheon sponsored by CXO. The event—an informal luncheon that provided opportunity for networking—brought together a select group of CU Denver Business School students with high-level executives from CXO’s network of members. Members of CXO’s network are required to be senior-level executives at companies with annual revenues exceeding $5 million.

Part of CXO’s regular schedule of networking events, the luncheon was designed to link business leaders of significant companies looking to make new connections and find ways to help each other, without having to worry about interference from job hunters or vendors making pitches. “It was a way to give the Bard Center and it’s students exposure to the network,” explained Michelle Parvinrouh, Program Coordinator for the Bard Center. Parvinrouh started the event off by giving a brief introduction to the Bard Center and it’s programs, and made a pitch for the executives to get involved in the Center

In addition to giving Business School students the opportunity to meet many high-level executives from significant Denver companies, Parvinrouh was able to meet potential speakers, mentors, and internship providers to contribute to the Bard Center curriculum and the Business School as a whole.
