4+1 accounting degree cu denver business school

Undergraduate students at the University of Colorado Denver Business School now have the opportunity to enroll in dual degree programs to obtain their MS in Information Systems or their MS in Accounting in addition to their bachelor degrees.

Students pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting can apply for the BS/MS Accounting 4+1 degree program. The program allows students to complete both degrees in as little as five years by substituting two graduate courses for two undergraduate courses.

The Information Systems program rolled out a similar opportunity for information system students to receive a Master of Science in Information Systems degree.

The BS/MSIS 4+1 degree program allows students to complete the BS and MSIS degrees in as little as five years through substituting two graduate courses for two undergraduate courses. Additional substitutions also allow dual degree students more flexibility in the design of their MSIS degree.

Students interested in either program must apply when they have one academic year left in their bachelor degree.

CU Denver Business School students may also be able to bypass the GMAT admission test requirement, if they have completed undergraduate information system courses with a GPA of at least 3.25.

For more information about these programs, please email bschool.admissions@ucdenver.edu or see the University Catalog.
