Kyrsha Wineinger has never had anything handed to her. She started supporting herself and living on her own at a young age. She’s worked between two to four jobs for nine years to put herself through school and get the life she always wanted.

When Geoffrey King walks across the stage at CU Denver Spring 2018 Commencement, he’ll be thinking of his three kids – and how much he wants them to achieve his success but never have to go through what he did to get there.
For the first 10 years of King’s life, he lived in a car with his family of six. His father passed away the day before his 10th birthday, and his mother passed away when he was 14, leaving him the head of the household. Read more

From graduating high school in 2006 to recently accepting a competitive internship from Xcel Energy, Kasey Sipe’s relentlessness has led him to success. Sipe, earning his BSBA in both Accounting and Finance, is enjoying every minute of his undergraduate experience this time around.
