    Students and faculty came together at St. Cajetan’s on the Auraria Campus on Tuesday, October 11, for the 6th Annual “Become a Business Leader with an Edge” CIO panel discussion. Attendees were welcomed by Dean Ambron, who set the tone for the evening, highlighting that students with IT skills and education “are in great demand.” The general message from all of the speakers and panel members was simple – that the future of Information Technology is bright.  Read more

  • Denver Business Journal says ‘Bioentrepreneurship’ meant to expand options

    You want higher education to offer more real-life applications? Then check out this new Bioinnovation program, which is doing its part to make bioscience students more employable. “We have an oversupply of Ph.D. bioscience graduates relative to the number of bioscience jobs that are available,” says Arlen Meyers, a University of Colorado Denver professor who’s teaching a course titled, “Building Biotechnologies: Fundamentals of Life Science Technology and Entrepreneurship,” one of three required to earn a certificate in bioentrepreneurship.  Read more

  • GCC Leadership Café Host “Don’t Settle” Event Featuring Merit Gest

    On Thursday, October 6th, the Graduate Career Connections (GCC) hosted Merit Gest for an insightful session on finding the career of your dreams. The event, titled “Don’t Settle”, was attended by graduate students, job-seekers, and members of the business community.
