Students and faculty came together at St. Cajetan’s on the Auraria Campus on Tuesday, October 11, for the 6^th Annual “Become a Business Leader with an Edge” CIO panel discussion. Then check out this new Bioinnovation program, which is doing its part to make bioscience students more employable. “We have an oversupply of Ph.D. bioscience graduates relative to the number of bioscience jobs that are available,” says Arlen Meyers, a University of Colorado Denver professor who’s teaching a course titled, “Building Biotechnologies: Fundamentals of Life Science Technology and Entrepreneurship,” one of three required to earn a certificate in bioentrepreneurship.  Read more

On Thursday, October 6^th, the Graduate Career Connections (GCC) hosted Merit Gest for an insightful session on finding the career of your dreams. The event, titled “Don’t Settle”, was attended by graduate students, job-seekers, and members of the business community.
