CU Denver Business School Hosts Foreign Leaders
Mozambique’s First Lady tours CU campuses DENVER – Today the CU Denver Business School, as well as the Anschutz Medical Campus – University Hospital, hosted the First Lady of Mozambique, Her Excellency Maria da Luz Dai Guebuza, for a tour of several facilities. The group and First Lady are visiting a variety of locations throughout the Denver area as part of an overall effort to meet and learn from business leaders here to enhance their own understanding of American business. $300,000 gift to CU Denver Business School program will help develop risk management and insurance workforce
DENVER—The Surplus Lines Association of Colorado has committed $300,000 to the Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program at University of Colorado Denver Business School. The gift will endow a scholarship fund and underwrite an international Risk Management and Insurance travel course that will help the program develop students who will graduate prepared to join the insurance industry workforce. CU Denver Sustainability Event Presented by First Data Shows Why it Pays to be Green
The ‘green’ movement across the globe isn’t just about government policies and individual choices, it is growing as a concern among small and large companies. Local business representatives, students, faculty and staff met for breakfast recently to learn more about sustainability in the business world. The program ‘Getting Green by Going Green,’ presented by First Data, was hosted by the University of Colorado Denver Business School and the school’s Managing for Sustainability Program, and was held in the Lawrence Street Center, Terrace Room.
