CU Denver Professor Jian Yang, Director of the university’s Finance and Risk Management program, was recently featured in the most prominent national English newspaper in China, China Daily. This past week, Ball Corporation and its offshoot Ball Aerospace, hosted a Diversity Day dedicated to spotlighting their diversity and inclusion initiatives alongside their internship opportunities. The event began with a breakfast and keynote speech from John Hayes, the company’s CEO. Mr. Hayes’s welcome speech was followed by Manette Snow, VP of Diversity and Inclusion at Ball, who spoke to attendees about the many resource groups Ball has for its staff, as well as how the company views diversity and inclusion as a central part of its identity.  Read more

Before beginning his studies at CU Denver, Travis Tung already had a promising career, holding several important positions in both the public and private sector. In the former role, he served as an accountant for the City and County of Denver’s Department of Human Services (DHS), where he oversaw the distribution, classification, and general reporting of specific government benefits extended to the department’s clients.  Read more
