    Gift will support programs at Center for Commodities DENVER – A strong knowledge base and commodities workforce is key to our nation’s future and to Colorado’s economy. But no university has offered a comprehensive academic program incorporating industries as diverse as energy, agriculture and mining.   • New Business School Building Gets Inauguration with the 11-Month MBA Program

    Dean Ambron speaks to class and welcomes them to ‘phenomenal new home’ DENVER – The new University of Colorado Denver Business School building was christened this morning with its first class – the start of the new term for the 11-month MBA program. It was a fitting opening for the Business School building, since the 11-month MBA program, when it started in 1998, was one of the first accelerated MBA programs in the nation.  Read more

    Students and faculty came together at St. Cajetan’s on the Auraria Campus on Tuesday, October 11, for the 6th Annual “Become a Business Leader with an Edge” CIO panel discussion. Then check out this new Bioinnovation program, which is doing its part to make bioscience students more employable. “We have an oversupply of Ph.D. bioscience graduates relative to the number of bioscience jobs that are available,” says Arlen Meyers, a University of Colorado Denver professor who’s teaching a course titled, “Building Biotechnologies: Fundamentals of Life Science Technology and Entrepreneurship,” one of three required to earn a certificate in bioentrepreneurship.  Read more
