Denver Business Journal says ‘Bioentrepreneurship’ meant to expand options
You want higher education to offer more real-life applications? Then check out this new Bioinnovation program, which is doing its part to make bioscience students more employable. “We have an oversupply of Ph.D. bioscience graduates relative to the number of bioscience jobs that are available,” says Arlen Meyers, a University of Colorado Denver professor who’s teaching a course titled, “Building Biotechnologies: Fundamentals of Life Science Technology and Entrepreneurship,” one of three required to earn a certificate in bioentrepreneurship.
