With the end of the semester and the winter holiday season rapidly approaching, we encourage our CU Business School students to spend time giving back to the community surrounding and supporting us. There are a number of opportunities and affiliated programs you can engage in! The following are ways you can spend your time contributing to your community these upcoming months.

MacKenna Stang, current One Year MBA student, graduated with her bachelors from Ottawa University with a degree in communications. After being in the workforce for a couple of years, she decided it was time to go back to school. That’s when MacKenna sought out the One Year MBA program at the CU Denver Business School. With global business experience under her belt, graduation on the horizon, and a new position at Ibotta waiting for her, MacKenna is excited to propel her career forward.  Read more

The undergraduate team from CU Denver Business School placed second in the 2019 Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative’s Consortium Case Competition. The eighth annual Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative’s Consortium Case Competition took place April 11-12 in Denver. The Case Competition exposes college students to a thought-provoking business ethics case, similar to a situation that they might face in their professional careers.  Read more

Each semester a group of CU Denver Business School MBA students are given the rare opportunity to collaborate with a company from Colorado for course credit. Through the business strategy lab, students consult with a company on a strategic issue they’re facing and learn how to conduct research, synthesize their research into strategic recommendations, work with executives while gaining both strategy and consulting experience.  Read more
