Dr. Michael L. Roberts, Director of Accounting Programs at the University of Colorado Denver Business School recently appeared on 9NEWS at 8 a.m. on Your Money Monday. The segment was filmed live from the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities. Dr. Roberts appeared on the show to help explain the current state of the U.S. economy and to make sense of the financial jargon that has been flying in the face of the impending “Fiscal Cliff” the country faces. Business School Club Helps Families Prepare Taxes
Accounting Professor, L. Ann Martin, interviewed with KMGH Channel 7 (ABC) for a story on volunteer accounting students from the University of Colorado Denver Business School helping low-income families prepare their tax returns. The story aired on April 13 and April 14, and mentioned the Business School program. KCNC Channel 4 (CBS) also interviewed a Business School graduate about the volunteer tax program, which got its start years ago under the leadership of Professor Martin. Read more
