• Sixth-Graders Learn About Sustainable Business

    The University of Colorado Denver Business School recently gave sixth grade students from Cole Middle School the opportunity to learn about building sustainable business. As part of a partnership between the University of Colorado Denver and Cole Middle School, of Denver Public Schools, sixth grade students visited the Auraria campus to explore the broad issue of sustainability—including learning about hydrogen-fuel-cell-powered cars, hydrophonics and the positive impact a sustainable culture can have on an organization’s bottom line.  Read more

  • CNN Money lists Colorado as one of the most Entrepreneurial States

    A new article from CNN Money ranks Colorado as the 4th most Entrepreneurial state in the Union, following only Arizona, Texas and California. The rankings are taken from the Kauffman Index of Entrepreneurial Activity, which is published by the Kauffman Foundation.  According to the Kauffman Foundation, “The Kauffman Index of Entrepreneurial Activity measures the rate of business creation at the individual owner level.  Read more

    Gift will support programs at Center for Commodities DENVER – A strong knowledge base and commodities workforce is key to our nation’s future and to Colorado’s economy. But no university has offered a comprehensive academic program incorporating industries as diverse as energy, agriculture and mining.   • New Business School Building Gets Inauguration with the 11-Month MBA Program

    Dean Ambron speaks to class and welcomes them to ‘phenomenal new home’ DENVER – The new University of Colorado Denver Business School building was christened this morning with its first class – the start of the new term for the 11-month MBA program.
