On May 7, 2019, Colorado suffered its 15th mass shooting that year (STEM School Highlands Ranch). Kaitlyn Hunter, BSBA ‘22, was among the witnesses of this tragic event. Like many other victims of gun violence, this event drastically changed the course of her life.

Graduating from college or university is a major accomplishment. In an effort to recognize and praise graduates for their time, energy, and dedication throughout their journey, the CU Denver Business School held a small graduation celebration on Friday, December 16, 2022, in the Jake Jabs Event Center. How many students have wished at least once that they had a mentor to show them the way? Higher education can be challenging to navigate, and having a guide sometimes makes a difference. Alums started the CU Denver Business School Alumni Network (BSAN) to offer that service to current students. Who better to know their experience than those who have lived it themselves?  On Wednesday, November 9, in partnership with CU Denver’s Women in Business Club, the Business Student Ambassador Committee (BSAC), and the Information Association Systems Association, BSAN held its annual Business School Alumni panel.  Read more
