Over 165 graduate and undergraduate students gathered from across the University of Colorado Denver and Anschutz Medical Campuses to compete at this year’s annual Research and Creative Activities Symposium. The Symposium showcases the research, creative and entrepreneurial activities of students on the Denver Campus and Anschutz Medical Campus. On April 10 and 11, at the Denver Marriot City Center, Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) chapters from across the Rocky Mountain region met.  The regional meeting was hosted by the University of Colorado Denver Business School’s Theta Sigma chapter. Theta Sigma held a special “Meet and Greet” event at the Business School on Friday, April 10^th, which brought together over 100 students from 13 regional chapters with more than 50 professionals from Denver area top financial firms.  Read more

“Many small people, who in many small places do many small things, can alter the face of the world.” So reads an inscription on one of the remaining panels of the Berlin Wall, a barrier between East and West Berlin that stood for nearly three decades and became a symbol of a divided world. When the wall fell, so too did barriers to the flow of capital, goods, and people. With the help of his roommate, Page started the crêpe-making food cart Batter in 2013. The summer following high school graduation, Page went on a trip through Europe with his high school orchestra class. Throughout the 12-country trip Page tried crêpes every place he could; Paris, he decided, had the best.  Read more

The University of Colorado Business School Student Organization area is open. Much of this was the result of the hard work of Master of Business Administration (MBA) student Jaime McGrath. “There was a significant need for it,” says McGrath. “We needed a space in the Business School to gather, post information about club happenings, and boost engagement.” In 2013 McGrath joined the MBA Student Organization (MBASO) and the CU Denver College Council.  Read more
