Toan Ong Starting his extensive collegian education studying computer science at the University of Economics in Vietnam, not many could have predicted that in just a few years Toan Ong would be on the front lines of researching Covid-19 and the effectiveness of the newly formed vaccine. When Jennifer first graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, she had no idea what the world had in store for her, but felt confident that she did not want to pursue a career as an engineer. After graduation, Jennifer began working in management consulting with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in Chicago. She found the work interesting, but a round of layoffs left her without a job two years later.  Read more

CU Denver’s Information Systems Department held their annual Business Leaders with an Edge Webinar on Tuesday, October 12. Hosted by Information System department chair, Dawn Gregg and mediated by Cynthia Wright, cybersecurity expert and veteran, this was the first time the event has been hosted virtually. The event featured five top C-Level executives from the Denver Metro area including: Mike Feliton, Marina Johnson, Joshua Pinkert, Sujan Turlapaty, and Christian Winward.  Read more
