Cyclists tend to be soft-spoken, non-boastful types. So, it’s not surprising that CU Denver graduate student Cyrus Pearo, who recently won the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships, summed up the race this way: “Good bit of climbing. The CU Denver Business School has partnered with the Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP) to allow students in western states to enroll in qualifying graduate programs and pay in-state tuition. The new tuition rates will begin in Fall 2017 for any newly admitted students. The qualifying programs include:

• Professional MBA
• Health Administration MBA
• MS Accounting
• MS Business Analytics
• MS in Health Administration
• MS Finance and Risk Management
• MS Information Systems
• MS Taxation

Once admitted into a qualifying program, eligible students will receive the WRGP form.  Read more

The CU Denver Business School was honored to host a delegation of cybersecurity experts who visited on February 22, Denver through WorldDenver and Denver Sister Cities International. The Indian cybersecurity experts are members of the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs International Visitor Leadership Program. The five-member Indian delegation is on a three-week tour of the US, visiting key cyber cities and partners to gain insight and discuss global practices linking digital policy to the emerging global threats of cybercrime, cyber risk, and law enforcement.  Read more

CU Denver Professor Jian Yang, Director of the university’s Finance and Risk Management program, was recently featured in the most prominent national English newspaper in China, China Daily. At the annual Global Investment Conference held in New York earlier this month, scholars, company executives, and investors gathered to exchange their views on a plethora of topics pertaining to global investment trends and challenges in China.  Read more

The Risk Management and Insurance Program at the CU Denver Business School was founded with the strong support and involvement of industry partners. For the second summer in a row, the RMI program has been able to give back to the community by offering a free summer class to local high school students. This summer, 18 students from Colorado high schools participated in the Introduction to Risk Management Careers course and earned a free CU Denver academic credit.  Read more
