Business Career Connections at the University of Colorado Denver Business School will host the Spring Career Fair Wednesday, March 9^th from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, in the first floor lobby of the Business School. The Business Career Connections Center at the University of Colorado Business School will be introducing a career preparation workshop for international students this spring semester. The goal of the workshop is to help International students prepare if they would like to work in the U.S. either for internships or full time work.  We know that it is especially important that they are well versed and understand the employment process so they can answer any questions employers may have, in addition to having a great resume.   Read more

The Center for Information Technology Innovation and Information Systems Association hosted the 10^th annual Business Leaders with an EDGE Executive Panel event. The business leaders from some of Colorado’s premier companies discussed Information Technology industry outlook and how information technology is an integral part of every aspect of business and what they see as the future of business and information technology.  Read more

Last week was Denver Startup Week, a week full of events centered on Denver’s startup community. The Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship at the CU Denver Business School hosted several events and had over 2,000 attendees over the week. Started in 2012, Denver Startup Week is a unique week-long experience bringing together the entrepreneurs in our community. According to the Denver Startup Week website it is a “week of events showcasing Denver’s entrepreneur community in tech, design, business, and manufacturing, to highlight Denver as an entrepreneurial center and continue to build the sense of community amongst entrepreneurs.”  Read more

On October 1, 2015 the newly formed Business School Alumni Network officially launched their efforts with a networking event and a panel discussion comprised of Business School Alumni Entrepreneurs. Interim Dean Gary Kochenberger kicked off the event by welcoming all the alumni in attendance, and discussing the importance of the Network to the success of the Business School.  Read more

On Thursday, September 17th, employers and business students from multiple schools came together at Sports Authority Field for the 2nd annual Colorado Business School Career Fair. The Career Fair is a collaborative effort between the business schools of the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, and the University of Denver. There were about 150 local and national employers that set up booths and sent recruiters to speak to students about jobs.  Read more

On Thursday, August 20^th students from around the CU Denver campus gathered for the 4^th annual CU Denver Block Party.  Hundreds of students played games, danced to music, ate delicious food from area food trucks – such as Batter, a food truck started by CU Denver Business School students – and posed for photos. All of the different schools and organizations from around the University were there in full force.  Read more
