  • CU Denver’s JPMCC announces second issue of GCARD

    The J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities at the University of Colorado Denver Business School is pleased to announce the launch of the second issue of the Global Commodities Applied Research Digest (GCARD). The GCARD’s website is designed so individual articles can be seen and downloaded at a glance, including the most recent Fall 2016 edition as well as the inaugural Spring 2016 issue.  Read more

  • 2016 faculty and staff awards announced

    At this year’s Holiday Potluck, the University of Colorado Denver Business School announced the 2016 faculty and staff awards along with the Laube Community Impact Award. Faculty awards are given for excellence in research, excellence in teaching for tenure and non-tenure tracks, and excellence in service. A committee of past winners in each category review the annual reports of the faculty and make recommendations to the Dean.  Read more

  • CU Denver’s MS in Finance ranked among the highest nationally

    The TFE Times’ Master of Finance Rankings for 2017 recently listed the University of Colorado Denver Business School’s Master of Science in Finance and Risk Management at #41 among top graduate finance programs in the United States. The Master of Science in Finance and Risk Management has been consistently ranked among the best in the nation (#44 in 2016 and #41 in 2017) and in Colorado (#1 in 2016 and 2017) by The Financial Engineer (TFE) Times ranking.  Read more

  • CU Denver professors present on food security, rumor mills

    The informal Creative Research Collaborative Fellow’s Talk is an annual series that allows professors to share their projects with fellow faculty members and the general public. Assistant Professors Onook Oh and Jody Beck presented their research on Sept. 28. Located in the Office of Research Services (ORS), the CRC is a campuswide initiative to foster innovative and interdisciplinary research that strengthens collaboration across academic units.  Read more

  • CU Denver Business School boasts impressive new rankings

    Recently, US News & World Report released their 2017 higher education rankings, which are widely regarded as one of the foremost benchmarks in evaluating the quality of education colleges and universities provide. The CU Denver School of Business undergraduate programs were ranked 94th overall, placing it in a tie with the University of Denver. Even more impressive, however, is the university’s undergraduate ranking amongst public institutions, where it came in 58th overall.  Read more

  • CU Denver finance professors present research at the 3rd annual Geneva Summit on Sustainable Finance

    A paper written by CU Denver Finance Professors John Byrd and Elizabeth Cooperman was one of ten papers accepted among global researchers to be presented at the University of Geneva’s 3rd Geneva Summit on Sustainable Finance in association with Latsis Internationale, the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) Finance Initiative, and Sustainable Finance Geneva.  Read more

  • Dr. Boerstler featured in special issue of the “Voice of Experience”

    Dr. Heidi Boerstler is a Professor Emeritus of Health Administration, Law and Ethics at the CU Denver Business School. “I have been with the Business School for 29 years (with a few years spent at our law school) and it has been an honor and a privilege to work with our students,” Dr. Boerstler said. She teaches health law and ethics and transformational leadership in the MBA/HA program and in the Executive MBA/HA program.  Read more
