Dr. Sue Keaveney’s Managing for Sustainability marketing course, “Marketing and Global Sustainability” at the CU Denver Business School, received honorable mention for the Dr. Alfred N. and Lynn Manos Page Prize for Sustainability Issues in Business Curricula award. According to a survey released Monday by WalletHub, Denver ranks as the second-best place for college grads to start a career. The research site placed Denver second among large U.S. cities, when it comes to starting a career. Salt Lake City placed first. David R. Hammond, Ph.D. and lecturer for the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities (JPMCC) at the CU Denver Business School has been awarded the Mineral Economics Award by the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME). It’s smart to be HIP, at least when it comes to engaging students, enhancing their college experience and keeping them on track to earn a degree. Building off the success of last fall’s Undergraduate Experiences Symposium titled “Learning with Purpose: Quality HIP Programs for All Students,” CU Denver has awarded nearly two dozen grants to facilitate the integration of HIPs (High-Impact Educational Practices) into numerous CU Denver degree programs and courses.  Read more
