Tanner decided CU Denver Business School would be his next adventure.
Tanner Calhoun has had an adventurous life. He has served in the Marine Corps, worked a drilling rig and in construction, been a hotshot firefighter, an EMT, a massage therapist, and even been a professional rodeo clown and bullfighter. Tanner’s most recent move has been a bit tamer by conventional standards, but he still finds it exciting. Read more
Dani Choromanski, a student at the CU Denver Business School and chapter member of Gamma Iota Sigma, spearheaded a toy drive over the holidays to help bring joy to children who were spending their holiday at the Children’s Hospital. The Beta Mu chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) of the Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program at CU Denver was awarded a Chapter Management award at the Gamma Iota Sigma 44th Annual International Conference in Columbus IL Friday, October 9th, 2015.
GIS is a student-led international insurance and actuarial society. The Beta Mu chapter at CU Denver was inducted into GIS in April 2014 at the Denver National RIMS conference. Read more
“I had no idea.” Kirill Buzinov, a recent University of Colorado Denver Business School Financial Management undergraduate, received a Business School Student Club Leaders Scholarship without ever applying for it. It was not gifted to him because he looks nice in a suit, but because he demonstrated strong leadership skills in a student organization, specifically CU Denver Finance and Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) Club.
