For inspiration in business and in life, Julie Austin doesn’t need to look far. All she has to do is talk to her mother and grandmother.

Thursday, August 3, 2017 – CU Denver Business student and RMI senior Janet Zamora-Ramirez met with Brian Snow, Managing Director, Mountain States Territory of AIG, to personally thank him for the $1,000 AIG scholarship Janet received in spring 2017. Internship season is full swing, with CU Denver Business School students putting their expertise into action with area firms. And they’re doing some pretty impressive things. Take Louis Nyamekye, an incoming senior studying Finance and Risk Management and Insurance, with a minor in Communication. Despite having a full academic year still ahead of him, Nyamekye was able to secure an internship with Arrow Electronics for the summer of 2017, working as a finance and risk management intern in the company’s treasury department.
