On Wednesday, the University of Colorado Denver Business School and the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship celebrated the grand opening of the new Jake Jabs Event Center, Innovation Suite, and classrooms. Galvanize and University of Colorado Denver jointly announce the Pathways Program, a strategic partnership that allows eligible Colorado high school and current CU Denver students to earn academic college credit at CU Denver for completing the Web Development Immersive (WDI) program at Galvanize. On April 14, Chancellor Dorothy Horrell presented the University of Colorado Staff Council 2017 Service Excellence Award to Connie Amen, assistant dean of the Business School.  The Service Excellence Award is given annually to recognize and reward staff members who have provided outstanding and sustained volunteer service to their campus, community/civic/professional organizations, and the university as a whole through active involvement in staff events, community engagement opportunities, committee work, social advocacy projects and diversity initiatives.  Read more

Traveling through Asia on a recent furniture-buying trip, Jake Jabs kept seeing the same low-backed couch in market after market.
