On September 11th the Beta Alpha Psi-Theta Sigma Chapter and the CU Denver Portfolio Management Group hosted  Meet The Firms to connect students with potential employers. The purpose of the event was to connect accounting, finance, and information system students with recruiters and professionals in the industry. It was well attended and great opportunity for students looking for jobs in those fields.  Read more

On Thursday, September 17th, employers and business students from multiple schools came together at Sports Authority Field for the 2nd annual Colorado Business School Career Fair. The Career Fair is a collaborative effort between the business schools of the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, and the University of Denver. There were about 150 local and national employers that set up booths and sent recruiters to speak to students about jobs.  Read more

On February 5, 2015 CU Denver Business Career Connections hosted the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.  The informational session which welcomed four professionals from the bank, highlighted the various career and internship opportunities with the nation’s central bank. Graduate and undergraduate students from the Finance, Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) and Information Systems programs listened in as current employees discussed their careers at the banking organization.   Read more
