  • Business School Students Take Third in Ethics Competition

    On April 14 and 15, undergraduate business students from a four-state region took part in the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative’s fifth annual Consortium Case Competition. Ten student teams competed, representing business schools from universities in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. The University of Colorado Denver Business School’s team earned third place.  Read more

  • Leaders Size up the Workforce Gap at State of Small Business

    Over 400 Denver community leaders and entrepreneurs gathered on November 3 at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s State of Small Business event to celebrate the achievements of the 2015 Bill Daniels Ethical Leader of the Year Award winner Evan Makovsky. The State of Small Business event was presented by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center in partnership with the University of Colorado Denver Business School, to give Colorado’s leaders and entrepreneurs insight into trends among the region’s small business community.  Read more

  • CU Denver Business School Program Hosts International Visitors Leadership Program Workshop

    On September 21, 2015 the CU Denver Business School Information Systems program hosted the International Visitors Leadership Program Workshop on the topic of Digital and Online Ethics Issues. The International Visitor Leadership Program: 75th Anniversary is a U.S Department of State program arranged by World Learning. The visitors are invited to the United States and the program connects emerging leaders from around the world to address critical issues and help break down barriers.  Read more

  • CU Denver Business School receives major grant as part of ethics initiative

    More than $11 million in grants to 11 colleges The University of Colorado Denver Business School was one of 11 institutions nationwide to receive a $1.25 million grant Monday aimed at teaching students principle-based ethics, emphasizing real-world application of ethical principles, and extending beyond campus and into the community. The money is part of $11.25 million in grants provided over the next five years by the Daniels Fund to 11 colleges from eight universities as part of its continuing Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative.  Read more
