  • Students visit major companies during BCC’s first San Francisco Career Trek

    Business Career Connections (BCC) held its first San Francisco Career Trek the week of October 10th. Four graduate students, and 13 undergraduate students attended the trip with Sue Wyman, Director, BCC, and Stephanie Sindt, Career Advisor, BCC.  Students came from Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, International Business, Human Resources and MBA programs.  Read more

  • Colorado Business School Career Fair attracts students and employers alike

    The third annual Colorado Business School Career Fair was held at Sports Authority Field on Thursday, September 29th. 165 employers attended this year’s Career Fair – up from 150 from the 2015 fair. Virtually every industry was represented and sponsors included Level 3, Penske, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Great-West Financial, Janus, Oppenheimer, TIAA, T.  Read more

  • 11th annual “Become a Business Leader with an Edge” executive panel event another success

    The Center for Information Technology Innovation (CITI) in Collaboration with the Information Systems Association (ISA) student club hosted its 11th annual Become a Business Leader with an Edge executive panel event on October 18, 2016. The business leaders from the community gathered for a panel discussion on the importance of acquiring information technology (IT) skills in order to be competitive in today’s business world.  Read more

      The University of Colorado Denver Business School is pleased to present renowned presidential historian, and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Doris Kearns Goodwin, as the keynote speaker for the 2017 Celebration of Success.   Having spent her lifetime studying the U.S. presidency, Goodwin will provide an informed and enthralling analysis on current events with remarkable insight of how history has answered similar questions.   Read more

  • Business community welcomes Dean Rohan Christie-David

    On September 7, members of the Denver business community gathered to welcome Dean Rohan Christie-David to the CU Denver Business School.   • Accomplished graduate student reflects on CU Denver’s new MS in taxation program and talks life post grad

    Before beginning his studies at CU Denver, Travis Tung already had a promising career, holding several important positions in both the public and private sector. In the former role, he served as an accountant for the City and County of Denver’s Department of Human Services (DHS), where he oversaw the distribution, classification, and general reporting of specific government benefits extended to the department’s clients.  Read more

  • Esteemed undergraduate scholar returns from summer abroad in Hong Kong

    Grecia Portillo, a rising junior at the CU Denver Business School, recently completed a summer abroad program in Hong Kong, after being awarded a highly prestigious full-ride scholarship from The Fund for American Studies. As a world traveler and student pursuing an international business degree with a minor in Mandarin, Portillo jumped at the opportunity to continue her education in China.  Read more
