  • CU Denver MBASO to Host Holiday Party

    The MBA Student Organization (MBASO) at the University of Colorado Denver Business School will host its first “Troliday” Party on Thursday, December 13, 2012. The “Troliday”—a derivation of trivia and holiday—Party will be held in the back room of Old Chicago, located at 1415 Market Street, in downtown Denver, beginning at 6:30pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to win prizes by answering business themed trivia questions and identifying business-related songs and videos.  Read more

    2012: Nearly 250 Attend CU Denver Information Systems Executive Panel Event

    Almost 250 people attended the seventh annual “Become a Business Leader with an Edge” executive panel event that was held at St. Cajetan’s, on Auraria campus. The event, which was presented by the Information Systems Program at the University of Colorado Denver Business School and the Information Systems Association, brought together business leaders from some of Colorado’s premier companies to discuss the future of business and technology.  Read more

  • 2011 Become a Business Leader with the Edge

    Students and faculty came together at St. Cajetan’s on the Auraria Campus on Tuesday, October 11, for the 6th Annual “Become a Business Leader with an Edge” CIO panel discussion. Attendees were welcomed by Dean Ambron, who set the tone for the evening, highlighting that students with IT skills and education “are in great demand.” The general message from all of the speakers and panel members was simple – that the future of Information Technology is bright.  Read more

  • Business School Club Helps Families Prepare Taxes

    Accounting Professor, L. Ann Martin, interviewed with KMGH Channel 7 (ABC) for a story on volunteer accounting students from the University of Colorado Denver Business School helping low-income families prepare their tax returns. The story aired on April 13 and April 14, and mentioned the Business School program. KCNC Channel 4 (CBS) also interviewed a Business School graduate about the volunteer tax program, which got its start years ago under the leadership of Professor Martin.  Read more
