Students broke out the professional attire and companies brought out their top recruiters in this year’s spring Career Fair. The Career Fair was organized by the CU Denver Business School’s Business Career Connections (BCC)  and featured 24 employers and two professional organizations. On March 4^th the South Denver community joined the University of Colorado Denver faculty and staff in an evening information session and open house.  The informational meeting was to discuss the Professional MBA program at CU South Denver. The South Denver location is at the Liniger Building – what once was The Wildlife Experience – in Parker, 15 minutes from the Denver Tech Center.   Read more

Last year the University of Colorado Denver Business School joined fifteen other schools nationwide when they decided to start offering a Master of Science in Taxation.  The high demand degree came as a result of Professor Eric Zinn reaching out to the business community to tailor the Certificate in Taxation, and soon realized the need for a comprehensive program offered through the university.  Read more

On February 5, 2015 CU Denver Business Career Connections hosted the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.  The informational session which welcomed four professionals from the bank, highlighted the various career and internship opportunities with the nation’s central bank. Graduate and undergraduate students from the Finance, Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) and Information Systems programs listened in as current employees discussed their careers at the banking organization.   Read more
