On October 16^th, the Center for Information Technology Innovation (CITI) and the Information System Association (ISA) successfully hosted the 13^th Annual Become a Business Leader with an Edge event. Over 350 CU Denver Business School students rushed into the Mile High Stadium early in the morning on Friday, October 5, hoping to get a chance to meet their dream employers. More and more, recruiters are hiring earlier in the season for summer internships and jobs. On October 2nd, a lively crowd – consisting of community members and CU Denver leadership, faculty, staff, and students – cheered on the CU Denver Business School and the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship as they broke ground on the soon-to-come Jake Jabs Event Center. Jabs donated $12 million in 2013 to the Business School, and the formerly known Bard Center for Entrepreneurship was renamed in his honor.  Read more

Danielle Johannes has been on quite the journey to becoming a graduate of the CU Denver Business School. Her family moved around a lot, which is how she attended three different high schools. Immediately following high school graduation, she joined the army and served a two-year term in Korea.
