Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation’s Colorado Investment Services Coalition brought over 25 financial-planning employers to the University of Colorado Denver Business School on Wednesday, October 15. Following previous meetings with representatives from firms like TIAA-CREF, Charles Schwab and Fidelity, the Coalition partnered with the Business School’s Business Career Connections (BCC) to introduce recruiters to the Business School’s sought-after talent pool.  Read more

On Friday, November 7, 2014, the Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) Program at the University of Colorado Denver Business School is hosting a shadow day for Graduate and Undergraduate Students.  This unique opportunity allows students to job shadow at an RMI-related employer, allowing students to “try it on for a day.” This is the chance for All CU Denver Students, including non-RMI students, to find out about career opportunities in the RMI industry.  Read more

University of Colorado Denver Business School’s Beta Alpha Psi (BAP), the honor society for accounting and financial information students, held a “Meet the Firms” with these organizations at the Tivoli Turnhalle September 19. This year was the greatest number of firms and the largest turnout of attending students and alumni. Fifteen of the top 20 accounting firms in Denver chose to find their talent at the CU Denver Business School.  Read more

The third annual Denver Startup Week had a wonderful turnout. The Business School alone saw over 1,000 attendees. From September 15 through September 19 local entrepreneurs and professionals visited startup havens around Denver to hear industry experts share tips and tricks for creating a successful organization.
