    The University of Colorado Denver Business School announced Bette Smith as the Administrative Director of the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities. The partnership between the University of Colorado Denver and J.P.   • CU Denver Professor Explains Fiscal Cliff on 9News

    Dr. Michael L. Roberts, Director of Accounting Programs at the University of Colorado Denver Business School recently appeared on 9NEWS at 8 a.m. on Your Money Monday. The segment was filmed live from the J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities. Dr. Roberts appeared on the show to help explain the current state of the U.S. economy and to make sense of the financial jargon that has been flying in the face of the impending “Fiscal Cliff” the country faces.  Read more

  • Business School Student Wins CU Denver Outstanding Intern of the Year Award

    Tim Haverkate, a student in the University of Colorado Denver Business School recently won the Graduate Outstanding Intern of the Year award presented by the Experiential Learning Center at CU Denver. Each academic year, the Experiential Learning Center (ELC) facilitates hundreds of internships. One Graduate and one Undergraduate intern are named as “outstanding.”   Read more

    MBA student shares how his hard work paid off throughout his time at CU Denver

    For Robert Volpe, the time was right. He had already enjoyed a successful career in technology strategy development and product marketing, but wanted more. “I was looking to get a broader business perspective,” he said. “I wanted to learn the hard skills like finance, economics and accounting because I knew they would be beneficial to my career moving forward.
