Just ask Jonathan Tejada, a 20-year-old entrepreneur and undergraduate marketing major at the CU Denver Business School. Raised on her family’s goat farm in Elizabeth, Colorado, Cassie Bennett never expected to land an internship with one of the top 10 accounting firms in the US upon graduation. Bennett, graduating with a BSBA in Accounting this May, will continue her education at the CU Denver Business School through the BS/ MS Accounting 4+1 degree program, which allows students to complete both degrees in as little as five years.  Read more

It’s every student’s wish for an amazing internship to turn into a dream job. A mentorship is established, and you already know the ins and outs of a company you truly enjoy. For Daniel Pliego, months of hard work as an intern turned into a full-time job offer with Blue Moon Digital, a full semester before receiving his diploma. Kyrsha Wineinger has never had anything handed to her. She started supporting herself and living on her own at a young age. She’s worked between two to four jobs for nine years to put herself through school and get the life she always wanted. If you meet Wineinger now, she’s the model BSBA/MS Accounting student. I’m currently an MS in Marketing student at the CU Denver Business School. As a part of my degree, I took a Maymester personal branding course through the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship.
