Originally from Ohio, Justin graduated with an undergraduate degree in Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning before moving to Washington D.C. to begin his career. One CU Denver student did just that. After 10 years as a math teacher, Kristine Napier was ready for a change. Born in India and raised in Boulder, Harshitha Adapa is a recent CU Denver graduate who found her passion in cybersecurity. By taking advantage of Business School resources and her mentors, Adapa applied her knowledge from the classroom to the real world and successfully landed a program management internship with Netskope, a private cybersecurity firm based in California.  Read more

It’s every student’s wish for an amazing internship to turn into a dream job. A mentorship is established, and you already know the ins and outs of a company you truly enjoy. For Daniel Pliego, months of hard work as an intern turned into a full-time job offer with Blue Moon Digital, a full semester before receiving his diploma. This December Pliego will not only be graduating with an MS in Information Systems and a specialization in Business Intelligence Systems from the CU Denver Business School, he’ll already have a job with a top employer that he knows is a great fit for him.  Read more
