The Beta Mu chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) of the Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program at CU Denver was awarded a Chapter Management award at the Gamma Iota Sigma 44^th Annual International Conference in Columbus IL Friday, October 9^th, 2015. GIS is a student-led international insurance and actuarial society. The Beta Mu chapter at CU Denver was inducted into GIS in April 2014 at the Denver National RIMS conference.  Read more

On September 11th the Beta Alpha Psi-Theta Sigma Chapter and the CU Denver Portfolio Management Group hosted  Meet The Firms to connect students with potential employers. The purpose of the event was to connect accounting, finance, and information system students with recruiters and professionals in the industry. On Thursday, October 23^rd, the Sports and Entertainment Management Club hosted a Broncos pre-game tailgating event for the student organizations of the University of Colorado at Denver Business School. Fifty students from ten UCD Business School clubs joined the festivities to network with other clubs, enjoy some pizza, and pay tribute to our favorite Super Bowl contenders.  Read more
