On Thursday February 23, the CU Denver Business School hosted Sheridan Titman, a leading finance researcher from the University of Texas at Austin. The lecture was well attended by both students and faculty, where Dr. Titman presented a recent paper “A Dynamic Model of Characteristic-Based Return Predictability” where he established that “climate of disruptive innovation” is a source of systematic risk that influences the returns in the stock market.  Read more

The CU Denver Business School was honored to host a delegation of cybersecurity experts who visited on February 22, Denver through WorldDenver and Denver Sister Cities International. The Indian cybersecurity experts are members of the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs International Visitor Leadership Program. The five-member Indian delegation is on a three-week tour of the US, visiting key cyber cities and partners to gain insight and discuss global practices linking digital policy to the emerging global threats of cybercrime, cyber risk, and law enforcement.  Read more

Business School study abroad trip focuses on re-establishing entrepreneurism in communist nation In January, the University of Colorado Denver Business School took 16 students on a study abroad trip to Cuba, a country experiencing a renewed wave of entrepreneurial spirit.
